PAK vs ENG: Day 3 play washed out due to rain and bad light

Southampton: Entire Day 3 of the second Test between Pakistan and England was washed out due to rain and bad light without a ball being bowled here at The Rose Bowl on Saturday.

Continuing with overnight score Mohammad Rizwan 60 and Naseem Shah 1 were at the crease when stumps was called off.

Pakistan ended the Day 2 with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan's resilience taking them to 223/9 before bad light stopped play. 

However, the day 3 play was abandoned due to poor light, rain and wet outfield forcing the umpires to call off the match. (UNI)
