COVID +ve VP Naidu thanks well-wishers for get well messages

New Delhi: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, who went into self isolation after contracting Covid-19 on Tuesday, thanked well-wishers following messages wishing him a quick recovery. 
"Thank you Ministers, Chief Ministers, legislators, friends and fellow citizens for your messages wishing me a speedy recovery. I am doing well and there is no cause for concern.
 
"I am taking all necessary steps to combat the virus as per medical advice. I am indeed touched by your warm good wishes!," Mr Naidu said in a series of tweets.
 
The  71-year-old tested positive for Coronavirus during a routine test. Incidentally, his last public engagementyesterday was a video conference of the 14th Edition of FICCI HEAL on the theme "Post Covid Healthcare World -- The New Beginning", where he had urged all to take prescribed precautions seriously to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.(UNI)
