The bigger engine, the 1.5-litre diesel engine, is capable of generating a maximum output of 100 PS at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The transmission system options available will be a five-speed manual transmission and a CVT transmission. The all-new Honda Amaze is expected to deliver an average mileage of 16 kmpl from the petrol engine, while the diesel engine would be able to deliver an average mileage of 25 kmpl.

The second generation of the Honda Amaze would be taking on cars like the Hyundai Xcent, Toyota Etios and Tata Tigor.
