Mumbai: Continuing with its successful run at the box office, the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai' has now entered the Rs 200 crore club and has earned Rs 206.04 crore at the end of its opening week, trade sources said on Friday.With its earnings of Rs 206.04 cr, the film has become the highest Bollywood grosser in India this year, surpassing ‘Golmaal Again’, which had a lifetime total of Rs 205.70 crore. However, the Ali Abbaz Zafar directed film has netted Rs 206.04 crore already after bringing in Rs 15.42 crore more on Thursday.
Of course, 'Golmaal Again' was made at a lesser budget due to which Blockbuster status came calling at the Trade experts feel that with audiences still thronging to the theatres , ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ could well cross a figure of Rs 275 crore by the end of the second week.Produced by Yashraj film and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Tiger Zinda hai, a sequel to the 2012 hit ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, has been breaking records at the box office ever since its release on December 22.
