Mumbai: OnceSunny Deol had a record of releasing his movie besides Aamir Khan's flick. Ghayal and Gadar and other movies made it big at the box office. However, things are not as rosy for Dharamendra's son. Sunny Deols Mohalla Assi has not only faltered at the box office it has not managed to surpass the collection of "Pihu" in which a girl aged 6 Myra Vishwakarma is in lead role.
It may be one of the lowest points of the career for the Deol but this is such a big achievement for the toddler star Myra who's nickname is Pihu. Both the movies have not done well but Pihu had an upper hand on Deol from day one.
Mohalla Asi started with a collection of 0.47 crore, followed by 0.60 and 0.61 crore in the weekend respectively. The gross collection of the movie is 1.68 cr. While Pihu collected 0.55 crore on Friday. The collection on Saturday and Sunday was 0.68 crore and 0.79 crore respectively. The gross collection of the movie is 2.02 cr.(WD)
