'72 Hoorain' fails to lure the cine enthusiast to box office in first weekend

After getting inspiration from Kashmiri files and The Kerela Story, Ashoke Pandit and Sanjay Puran Singh’s film "72 Hoorain" hit the silver screen on July 7.Aamir Bhasir and Pavan Malhotra are in the lead roles.

The film was based on the concept of Hoorain, revolves around the Quranic concept of Hoor, and highlights the brainwashing of youth in the name of religion and forcing them into terrorism.

The film created a buzz on social media before its release but failed to gather an audience on its first day.The film had a disastrous opening of 35 lakhs on its first day. On the second day the flick witnessed a scant surge with 45 lakhs. Even on the sunday the film hardly unrufled any feathers with 45 lakhs in its kitty. The gross collection in the first weekend stands at a paltry earning of 1.26 crores.
