As India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day, COLORS’ family pour their heart out and give a special message:

Abhinav Shukla (Khatron Ke Khiladi 11): With our sportsmen competing brilliantly at the Olympics, my dream of an independent India making a name for itself in the realm of athletics has come true. I can proudly say Jai Hind. I'd also like to express my gratitude to the COVID fighters, physicians, and defence personnel for keeping us safe in our country.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya (Khatron Ke Khiladi 11): While India fought one battle for independence nearly 75 years ago, in these last two years the nation and its citizens have been fighting another unprecedented fight against the global pandemic. It has been our doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who have cemented their position as the foremost champions of humanity. I salute their courage, valour, and selflessness in serving society. Also, during the recent Olympics held in Tokyo, several of our athletes have won medals, some of whom have also created history. My heart swells with pride seeing how India have been prospering every passing year. I wish all our wonderful viewers a very Happy Independence Day.

Pravisht Mishra aka Anirudh (Barrister Babu): I feel very proud to be born in this country. This is the land of diverse culture, our dialect, language, attire, everything changes every 100 kms. Yet despite this diversity, we are ONE. I am very proud of my roots. Independence Day means a lot to me. It is a day to commemorate the martyrs who gave their lives to bring us freedom. We should feel proud to be a part of this country and as responsible citizens, we should try to be a better human being.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia aka Seher (Choti Sarrdaarni): We need to respect the freedom that we have today. There is nothing more important than freedom of expression, freedom of thoughts. For me personally, having the liberty and freedom to make my own choices and stand by my opinions is what matters the most. I believe that's the real freedom for all individuals. I hope and pray for peace for everyone this Independence Day.
