Mumbai: Once a pure gold, Akshay Kumar's horrendous run at the box office continues at the box office as selfiee appeared blurred and cluttered to the critics and cine-goers.
Directed by Raj Mehta, this comedy drama stars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The movie tried to dives deep into the dynamics of a celebrity-fan bond, painting an accurate picture of how while celebrities always have a good relation with their fans, things can always go wrong.
However, The remake of 2019 released Malayalam film "Driving Licence" lacked soul and portrayed unrealistic exaggeration in the key scenes. On collection front the fan and star based script was out-rightly rejected by audience with hardly any footfalls.
The movie collected a paltry collection of 2.55 crore. Any possibility of surge in the earnings looks bleak as negative word of mouth has spread like a wildfire. Akshay Kumar's fate as super star hang in balance as it is his fifth movie in a trot which has faltered at the box office.
