In a candid sit-down interview, Abhishek Bachchan opened up to the young audience at a local college event, giving them an insight into his mind as an actor, as he voiced his opinions on some of his most famous films, giving the young fans insight into his experience working with some of his co-stars, namely Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan, Saiyami Kher and even his father, Amitabh Bachchan.

When asked about Dhoom 3 completing 10 years, Abhishek spoke about how it was a dream for him to work with Aamir Khan, and have him be a part of the franchise. He recalled a recent conversation with co-star Uday Chopra where they both were astounded by how quickly time flies, especially when Dhoom will complete 20 years in the coming year.

In a rather heartwarming note, Abhishek spoke about an instance that occurred soon after the release of LOC: Kargil, when a mother of one of the fallen soldiers came up to director J.P. Datta and said that even though her son was dead, they were able to enjoy his presence for four more hours through the film. This touched Abhishek’s heart and cemented his belief that actors can change someone's life through their films.

When asked about his film ‘ Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’, he mentioned how he and Hrithik were in the same school together, and how even though Hrithik was a few years senior they had a bond, which is what made it all the more wholesome when they got to share space on the big screen.

For Shahrukh, he spoke about how working with the Badshaah was fantastic, and his dedication is admirable. Abhishek was all praises for his father Amitabh Bachchan, lauding his dedication, especially given his age. If there was one thing he would like to have from any of his co-stars, it would be his father's dedication and drive towards his craft.

Abhishek also gave an insight into his films ‘Bunty Aur Bubli’ and ‘Sarkar’, talking about how ‘Sarkar’ was the first time he faced his father on camera. Abhishek spoke about how the first time working with someone like Amitabh Bachchan was always special, and even though he is a very giving and generous actor, his very presence and aura can leave even the biggest of actors starstruck.

The actor also gave a bit of trivia about ‘Bunty Aur Bubli’, and how Amitabh Bachchan was sceptical about the song ‘Kajra Re’, and Abhishek and Shaadi Ali managed to convince him that the song was worth doing and would still be played in clubs 20 years later, which turned out to be true as Kajra Re is still one of the most popular Bollywood songs till date.

Junior Bachchan also spoke about his films Guru and Yuva, which were amazing opportunities for him as an actor, because of the opportunity they gave him to change someone's life. Abhishek added that while the Box Office will always be important to actors, it is also important for them to remember their role as an artist and the ability they have to change someone's life with what they bring to the big screen.

Abhishek Bachchan’s insight into his mindset as an actor, and what it is like behind the curtain of glitz and glamour that is so often associated with Bollywood truly left a mark on the young audience, as they cheered every story, especially the life lessons that Abishek gave them along the way. Candid conversations like these with stars like Junior Bachchan truly can shape young people's lives and will stay with the audience for years to come.(PR)<>
