New Delhi /Mumbai: Actor Narendra Jha, known for his critically-acclaimed portrayals in films like 'Ghayal once again ', 'Raees', 'Kaabil', 'Haider' and 'Mohenjo Daro', died early on Wednesday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest in the financial capital, trade sources said He was 55.Jha suffered a massive heart attack at 0500 hrs at his farmhouse in Wada in Mumbai. This was the third heart attack that he has had over the years.Jha was married to ex Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Pankaja Thakur.
Celebrities from the world of Bollywood expressed shock over Jha's death.Reacting to Jha's demise, 'Kaanil' director Sanjay Gupta said, 'I refuse to accept it. Life cannot be so damn unpredictable. I just met a hail n hearty Narendra Jha at the park last week. And now I’m hearing he passed away this morning. Such a splendid actor and a marvellous human being. Rest in peace my friend. May God bless your soul.'
Writer and director Milap Zaveri said, 'RIP Narendra Jha sir. Really wish I had gotten the opportunity to work with you. Guess life had other plans.'Singer Rekha Bhardwaj also expressed shock on the death of the actor. 'I do not want to believe this.... ,'she said.(UNI)
