Actress Shruti Hassan's followers tally touches 14 M on Insta (Pics)

Mumbai:Daughter of fame filmmaker Kamal Hassan and Bollywood actress Shruti Hassan may not have earned big in Indian cinema but on Instagram, the algorithm is vice versa.

The followers of Shruti Hasan on popular photo-sharing platform Instagram surged to 14 million recently. She stated that it was a memorable experience to get connected with the fans in this weird era of the world.

In a bid to thank her followers She made and uploaded a video on Instagram with the caption: here's a super cheesy Thankyou to my Instagram family for my 14 million !! I love you all and am so thankful for all the love you show me every day.

It’s been a super strange time in history and everyone has so many weird emotions right now but it’s been so amazing connecting with all of you and sharing my life and seeing yours.

The elder daughter of Kamal Hassan sneaked into Bollywood way too early, still, she is unable to create a niche in tinsel town. She made a debut with "Luck" but failed to get the beginner's luck at the box office. 

Later she made a comeback with "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" which received a lukewarm response despite melodious tracks. Recently she was seen opposite  Rajkumar Rao in "Behen Hogi Teri".

Despite her lean patch in the Bollywood she continues to be a big name in Tamil and Telugu movie industry.
