“What a Joke” “Disappointing”: Prabhas-Saif Ali Khan-Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush teaser fails to impress netizens

The teaser of Prabhas’ highly anticipated film Adipurush was unveiled in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya at a mega event in the presence of Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar. However, it has left netizens disappointed and they are trending #DisappointingAdipurish.

Om Raut’s directional film presents Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif as Ravana.

Soon after the teaser is released, the film was trolled on social media for its ‘poor VFX’, Saif Ali Khan’s look as Ravana, Hanuman’s look, and Pushpak Viman. 

Netizens are dubbing the VFX of the film as “cartoon-ish” and “disappointing”.

It seems @ajaydevgn's VFX company did the shoddy job on #Adipurush by mixing Planet of Apes, Game of Thrones, some other foreign films, and 3D models available for cheap purchase online.

Social media users are trolling Saif for spiky hairstyle and beard and questioning if the actor will be playing Ravana or Alauddin Khilji in the film. One of the social media users wrote, “I mean seriously!!! Are they going to change the name of ravan to rizwan ?? Who is styling his beard?? Javid Habib??"

Netizens are also questioning the portrayal of Ravana’s Pushpak Viman. When some users are calling it a dragon or a bat, one of the users joking said that Pushpak Viman got infected by Corona Virus.

Ravan was a Brahman, hard-core Shiv-Bhakt, King, Ved Gyata.

This new Ravan, Saif has no Tilak, no Janeu, No Mukut, no pushpak Viman, he simply looks like Uighar Chinese Muslin wearing left over clothes of English web series.
