Celebrated Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has officially begun filming for "Dhamaal 4", the latest instalment in the enduringly popular comedy franchise, which has already completed its first shooting schedule at the scenic Maleshwar Ghat, with production now shifting to Mumbai.
Taking to his official X account (formerly Twitter), Devgn gave fans a sneak peek into the ongoing shoot, posting candid snapshots alongside co-stars Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Anjali Anand and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
He also posed with the film's director Indra Kumar and producer Bhushan Kumar, signalling the return of the franchise's original creative vision. And captioned it, "The madness is BACK! #Dhamaal4 kicks off with a bang — Maleshwar Ghat schedule wrapped, Mumbai schedule rolling! Let the laughter riot begin!"
The "Dhamaal series", which began in 2007, quickly garnered a cult following for its eccentric characters, slapstick humour and chaotic storytelling. It spawned two sequels "Double Dhamaal" (2011) and "Total Dhamaal" (2019), both of which retained the franchise's zany charm.(UNI)<>
