Ajay Devgn, Om Raut Reunite for Another Unsung Maratha Warrior Film

Ajay Devgn is reportedly in advanced talks with filmmaker Om Raut for a new historical epic that will spotlight the bravery of an unsung Maratha warrior.

The film is expected to build on the legacy of their earlier collaboration, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and could mark the expansion of the “Unsung Warrior” franchise.

According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, Ajay Devgn had been waiting for a compelling story to take the franchise forward. When Om Raut presented him with the story of another lesser-known Maratha hero, the actor reportedly gave his nod without hesitation and is said to be highly enthusiastic about the project.

Sources also reveal that Devgn has asked Raut and his VFX team at NY VFXWala to prepare a tentative budget. The project is currently in its early stages, with a strong focus on conceptual development and large-scale world-building. The actor is keen to ensure that the film is mounted on a grand scale while maintaining financial discipline.

Multiple meetings have already taken place between Devgn and Raut, with both creatively aligned and actively developing the vision for the potential “Unsung Warrior” franchise.
