New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has raised concerns over an AI-generated trailer circulating online that falsely depicts him in the role of Maharishi Valmiki.

Sharing his reaction on Instagram, Akshay wrote a strongly-worded note, highlighting that he recently came across AI-generated videos of a film trailer which shows him in the role of Maharishi Valmiki.

"I want to clarify that all such videos are fake and created using AI. What's worse, some news channels decide to pick these up as 'news' without even verifying if these are real or morphed. In today's time, when misleading content is being produced at great speed through manipulative AI, I sincerely request media houses to verify and report only after authenticating the information," the actor added.

The star of ‘Jolly LLB 3’ has voiced concerns over the unauthorized use of celebrity images and identities on digital platforms, a growing issue affecting Bollywood stars.

His reaction comes in the wake of celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Karan Johar seeking legal protection for their name, image, photographs, voice, and performances from commercial or personal misuse online.

In a notable case, the Delhi High Court strongly condemned the unauthorized use of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s persona, highlighting that such actions not only cause financial harm but also damage dignity and reputation.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Subhash Kapoor’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’, reprising his popular role alongside Arshad Warsi. The courtroom drama features the duo clashing in an intense legal battle, with Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles. Gajraj Rao plays the antagonist, while Seema Biswas portrays a grieving mother.

The film hit theatres on September 19, 2025, continuing the franchise’s legacy of sharp courtroom narratives.
