New Delhi: Claiming that his latest venture 'Rustom', based on an extramarital affair of the wife of a Parsi-Navy Officer, would be loved by women who want to save their marriages, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar said he would be happy, if through the movie, he could save at least one married life.
Interacting with the media during the promotion of his flick, based on the 1959 case of naval officer K M Nanavati, who allegedly murdered the lover of his wife, Akshay said, 'I am obliged to do such a film and would be glad if after watching the movie, I could save at least one married life.

' Rustom, which features Ileana D'Cruz as Akshay's wife, depicts the story of a naval officer, who finds his wife cheating on him and then apparently kills her lover, which leads to a court case, public sympathy and media trial on proving his guilt or innocence in the matter.

When asked which is his best role till date, the versatile actor said, 'I cherish each of the characters I have played. It will be mean and ungrateful on my part to not acknowledge the same.
'I would love to do a 100 more roles because the game is not over, it is just the beginning, the way I see it.

' Expressing gratitude over the support expressed by Bollywood for his movie, Akshay said, 'It's great when the industry supports you.It is nice to see the whole fraternity coming together and doing this.' Rustom is slated to hit the theatres on August 12.(UNI)
