Lucknow:Just days after chief minister Yogi Adityanath's visit to Mumbai and met Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, now the actor has sought permission from the Uttar Pradesh government to shoot their upcoming film ' Ram Setu' in Ayodhya.
On December 1, Yogi Adityanath had met Akshay Kumar in Mumbai, when UP CM has assured all cooperation to the Bollywood and invited them to shoot in the state.
Now Akshay Kumar has sought permission from UP CM to shoot in Ayodhya, official sources here on Friday confirmed.During the last meeting between UP CM and Akshay Kumar, the actor had shown several of his ongoing projects and congratulated Yogi Adityanth for the new film city in Noida.
Sources said the offer for shooting in Ayodhya was approved immediately by the CM during the meeting with the actor.
The film 'Ram Setu' would be intensively shot in several places of UP including Varanasi and Prayagraj and now Ayodhya has been added to it.Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film 'Ram Setu' will be made on the original area of the happenings and it will show whether 'Ram Setu' was real or just an imagination.(UNI)
