Alia Bhatt’s 'Ghar More Pardesiya' gets Academy's shout-out

New Delhi: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has given a shout-out to Bollywood star Alia Bhatt's dance performance in "Ghar More Pardesiya" from 2019 film "Kalank".
 
The semi-classical number by Shreya Ghoshal and Vaishali Mhade showcased Alia’s Kathak performance choreographed by Remo D'souza from the Dharma Production film.
 
Directed by Abhishek Varman, the period drama was produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and also featured Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu and Kiara Advani.

It is the second song by Shreya Ghoshal to be featured on The Academy’s Instagram page.
 
Last month, her song Deewani Mastani from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Bajirao Mastani" (2016), starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, also received a mention.
