Big B helps stranded people to travel from Mumbai to UP

Lucknow: Bollywood's 'Big B' Amitabh Bachchan extended his help to ferry as many as 180 stranded migrants from Mumbai to their homes in Uttar Pradesh by arranging a special flight for them. 
The arrangements were made through Haji Ali Trust and Pir Makhdum Trust and a flight under the same landed at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow carrying 180 people today. The people who landed at the airport are hailing from various districts of the state.

All of them thanked Mr Bachchan for his help and said that he had booked the flight at his own expense.  Earlier, people had also landed at Varanasi and Gorakhpur through a flight that was booked by the Bollywood superstar on Wednesday. Two flights landed in Varanasi which were carrying 348 people while 187 others also landed in Gorakhpur.(UNI)
