Anupamaa actor Nitesh Pandey dies of cardiac arrest; celebs condole

Mumbai: Popular TV and film actor Nitesh Pandey has passed away at midnight in Igatpuri, near Nashik in Maharashtra, reportedly due to cardiac arrest.
 
He was 50.
 
Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) took to social media to condole the demise of Nitesh and wrote, “CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Nitesh Pandey (Member since 2004).”

Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain paid heartfelt condolence on the demise of Pandey.
 
In a tweet, he wrote, “Three members of our fraternity passed away in span of just few days, shocked, sad…..my condolences to the respective families om shanti #AdityaSinghRajput #vaibhaviupadhyay #niteshpandey”.

Nitesh began doing theatre in 1990 and In 1995, he got his first show ‘Tejas’ in which he played a detective. He had worked in serials like ‘Manzilein Apani Apani’, ‘Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani’, ‘Saaya’, ‘Justajoo’ and ‘Durgesh Nandini’.
 
Nitish had also done movies like ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Badhaai Do’, ‘Dabangg 2’, among others. He also ran an independent production house - 'Dream Castle Productions' which produces Radio shows.
 
He was last seen in Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ as Dheeraj Kapoor. (UNI)
