Mumbai: Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, did not possess drugs when the NCB raided the Cordelia cruise ship on October 3, said Sam D'souza, a prime suspect in the high-profile case, on Monday.
Speaking to a regional TV news channel, D'souza clarified, “Mr Kiran Gosavi is merely fraud. He was not aware about the money deals to release Aryan Khan. He had received phone call from one Sunil Patil who claimed to have a tip-off about the cruise rave party. Hence, he asked to give the contact number of an NCB officer.”
He further said, “Referring to Aryan Khan, Patil told that there is one big fish of Bollywood industry. He asked to do the middlemen role and subsequently contacted one of his friend Ranjeet Bindra.”
“Through Bindra, we had meeting with Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani. Then, Patil asked me to take money from Prabhakar Sail after which I had taken Rs 38 lakh and again Rs five lakh from unknown person sent by Ms Pooja,” he revealed.
“But, when I came to know about the entire fraud, I recollected the money and gave back to concerned person,” he claimed.
He told, “I have already made affidavit to appear before the Special Investigating Team of Maharashtra Police (probing the bribery charges against the NCB officers and others involved in the cruise ship raid).”
“Now, my family members were receiving phone calls from different numbers,” he mentioned. (UNI)
