Mumbai: It is seldom seen, when two movies perform better despite having a same date release.
This time both Baadshaho and Shubh Mangal Savdhan have been able to earn decent collections at the box office. Baadshaho began with a collection of 12.60 crore on Friday. Followed by 15.60 crore and 15.10 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The collections on Monday dipped to 6.82 crore. The movie earned 6.12 crore on Tuesday and 4.3 crore on Wednesday. The gross collection of the movie has touched 60 crore approx which can be rated above average.
On the other hand, Shubh Mangal Savdhan has earned 2.71 crore on the first day. A rise in the collection was witnessed on Saturday and Sunday with 5.56 crore and 6.19 crore. The collections on Monday dipped to 2.53 crore. Later the collection was stagnant at 2.85 and 2.12 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The movie has earned 22 crores which is good as per the budget and star cast. (UNI)
