Mumbai: Rising star Babil Khan is set to feature in the Indian-American short film "Yakshi", alongside acclaimed Malayalam actress Anna Ben, known for her performances in "Kumbalangi Nights" and "Helen".
Directed by Karan Sunil and produced by Lambe Log Productions, "Yakshi" blends Indian folklore with contemporary storytelling, positioning itself as a significant addition to global cinema.
Although the intricacies of the plot remain under wraps, Babil Khan's involvement hints at a performance replete with emotional nuance and depth, further consolidating his reputation for embracing unconventional roles.
Anna Ben recently took to social media, sharing behind the scenes glimpses from the shoot while expressing her heartfelt gratitude.
