New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan and Tapasee Pannu starrer crime thriller drama 'Badla' has reached at the peak as it has crossed Rs 100 crore mark in its fifth weekend.
'Badla' continues to garner love and appreciation across the nation despite having other releases at the same time.
After the path breaking 'AndhaDhun' last year, now 'Badla' emerges as the content film of the year.
In week five, Sujoy Ghosh's 'Badla' collected Rs 30 lacs on Friday, Rs 55 lacs on Saturday, Rs 72 lacs on Sunday which leads to the Rs 85.26 crore till fifth week and a grand total of Rs 100.60 crore.
The crime thriller revolves around Taapsee's character Naina who is stuck in a murder scandal. Playing Badal Gupta, a lawyer to Naina, Amitabh Bachchan has recreated the magic of Pink.
Also starring Amrita Singh, Tony Luke and Manav Kaul in supporting roles, 'Badla' has been gauging appreciation for the remarkable performances. (UNI)
