Bareilly (UP): President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Dargah Aala Hazrat in Bareilly Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has demanded the Union government to ban the Hindi film 'Chhava' as soon as possible.

Maulana Barelvi has requested the Union Government to take legal action against the Director, Producer, and Writer. He has said that the Muslims of India do not consider Aurangzeb as their leader and they just consider him only a ruler, nothing more than that.

In a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maulana has requested that since the release of the film Chhava, the atmosphere of the country is deteriorating. "Hindu youth have been provoked and incited by showing the image of Aurangzeb as anti-Hindu in the film Chhava. This is the reason why leaders of Hindu organisations are giving hate speeches regarding Aurangzeb. Due to this, communal riots broke out in Nagpur on March 17, which is extremely regrettable," he said.
