Bloody Hell! Rangoon becomes a huge disaster at Box office

Mumbai: A collection of meager 18 crores (avg 6 crore per day) has sealed the fact that neither Vishal Bharadwaj’s direction nor Kangana Ranaut’s acting is enough to pull a huge crowd in the multiplex. In fact the critics are terming the movie Rangoon as the biggest failure of Vishal Bharadwaj's career. Besides, the failure poses a question mark on the future of Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan too. The self boosting, self made star Kangana Ranaut too has received a huge blow.  

The producer Sajid Nadiadwala had broke the bank to sign the trio. But now It looks like that the movie won’t last too long this week and may be out of cineplexes before second week. A movie made from an investment of 80 crore has recovered only 30 crore, looking down at the loss of 50 crores. Now Vishal is hoping to minimize the incurred loss. (WD)
