A section of the social media slammed Babita and asked Twitter to suspend her account for the controversial post. "#SupendBabitaPhogat' has been among the top trends in India on the social media platform.
Bollywood actor Ejaz Khan was one of the members of the lobby. He tagged Babita Phogat and said A Muslim is behind the popularity of the wrestler. He was addressing Aamir Khan who produced a biopic on Phogat sisters.
He added that Phogat is harmful for society as she hates Muslims. He also termed the sportswoman turned BJP politician an opportunist.(WD)
