New Delhi: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who is all set for the release of the much-awaited magnum opus ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’, on Tuesday announced a fan screening that will be held on September 8, in Mumbai.

The soon mom-to-be took to her social media and shared a video, where she is see alongside filmmaker Ayan Mukerji and husband Ranbir Kapoor, along with the crew of the movie, sitting in a theatre.

“We are watching Brahmastra in 3D for the first time together. It’s unreal,” she says.

Ayan says: “This is a huge moment for us to finally see the movie complete in this form. As we were all together, we decided that one day before release, the way we wanted to put the film out in the world, is to really watch it with the audiences that the film was made for.

"So we have decided that one day prior to release on Thursday…”

Ranbir joins in and continues, “On 8th of September, that is lucky number 8, we will be having a fan screening with all of you guys. I can’t believe it”.

Directed by Ayan, produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, the magnum opus will release theatrically on September 9, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D, across five Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

It boasts a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. (UNI)
