Washington: Jason Alexander, the former husband of American hit-maker Britney Spears has been charged with felony stalking after appearing during the pop star's wedding with Sam Asghari last week.
This is how, BBC described it: A man once married to singer Britney - for 55 hours - has been charged with felony stalking after showing up unannounced during her wedding.
Alexander married Spears in 2004. They were childhood friends. However, within three days the marriage was annulled.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge of felony stalking, as well as to trespassing, battery and vandalism.
Last week, he was detained for allegedly gate-crashing and streaming a video from inside the home of the "Hit Me Baby" singer.
On Monday, a judge set bail at $100,000 and issued a restraining order requiring Alexander to stay at least 100 yards (91 metres) from Spears for three years, BBC reported.
Last week, Spears tied the knot with her longtime partner Asghari in California in an intimate ceremony. (UNI)
