Dowry and unnatural sex allegation on Nawazuddin

Muzaffarnagar: Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddique found himself in a controversy when a police complaint was filed against him and his family members by his sister-in-law (younger brother wife) for assaulting her recently on demand for more dowry. Police sources today said that the complaint against Nawazuddin and his other family members was filed at Budhana police station by Afreen, his sister in law " We are investigating the matter and as it involves a popular actor hence all precautions are being taken," the police said.

Afreen has filed the complaint against the actor and four others, including her husband, for harassing her for dowry. However, Nawazuddin has refuted the allegations. He has tweeted, "Everything was recorded through CCTV Cameras. Police is investigating,be Cool." According to the reports,Afreen, who is three months pregnant, alleged that she was told to get out of the house on September 28 and was also kicked in the stomach by Nawazuddin when she refused to give in. In her complaint, Afreen said, "Ever since I got married to Minazuddin on May 31, I was being harassed to bring dowry with me. She also alleges forcing unnatural sex on her by her husband. (UNI)
