Chitti 2.0 makes a rollicking start at box office

Mumbai: Rajnikanth paired up with Aishwarya Rai in Robot. The movie released in 2010 turned out to be a huge success at box office. The sequel 2.0 is following suit. This time Rajnikanth is sharing screen willy Amy Jackson plus the villain is Akshay Kumar.

The first-day collection of the movie is quite encouraging for the producers. The movie earned 20.05 crore in Hindi version. However fans are preferring to watch this movie in 3D theatres which is limited.

Basking on Rajnikanth stardom the movie has performed better In south Indian states. The movie has grossed around 50.64 across south India. The gross collection of the movie has reached 70 crores.
