Owing to the thumbs down shown by the critics the Hollywood adaptation of "Comedy of Errors" has fallen flat on the first day at Box Office. The movie which had a whopping budget, star studded cast faltered due to the mercurial script and wayward direction which replicated on the earning of first day. As per the trade analysts the movie has garnered around 6 crore which is a poor show considering the mega budget of Rohit Shetty directorial flick.
The big-ticket entertainer starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jaqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma and a bevy of celebrated actors was released on 23rd December to get an extra cushion of X mas day festivity and New year ending frenzy, but now it looks highly unlikely that the movie is going to build a momentum in the first week. Even a double digit collection on the Sunday would not be enough to bail the movie out of troubles.(WD)
