Collections of Gadar equal to 5000 crore!

Yes, its true that Bahubali is firing all cylinders and have already amassed 1500 crore rupees. But the makers of Gadar are not really impressed.
 
They don't even want to call the highest grossing Indian film of all times. They insist that you can't overlook the measures of inflation.
 
Anil Sharma, the maker of Gadar, said that released in 2001, Gadar had collected 265 crore rupees and was a colossal hit at the box office. In those days ticket rater were very low and there were no multiplexes either. If we add the inflation, then the 265 crore rupees collections of Gadar can go all the way to 5000 crore today!
 
Busy in his new film called Genius, Anil Sharma is going to launch his son Utkarsh from this film. Utkarsh had played a minor role in Gadar as a child artist.
