Mumbai: A light hearted rom com in a festive season has always worked for the producers. The formula worked for Dharma Production’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania as well. A pre Holi release flick took the advantage of an extra holiday and the movie has crossed 50 crore mark in 4 days.
The movie had a decent start at the box office with 12. 25 crores. The mouth publicity took the collection to 14.75 crores on second day. The movie collected highest 16.05 crores on Sunday. While the collection on the day of Holi was 12.08 crores, making the gross collection 55.13 crore (till Monday). Chances are rife that movie will make it into 100 cr club. (WD)
