Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja on Monday announced they are expecting their first child.

"We can't wait to welcome you," wrote the couple, sharing a poignant picture in black and white with Sonam flaunting her baby bump surreptitiously, lying on a sofa in a black full sleeves monokini, with her head on Anand's lap.

Along with the pictures, she wrote, "Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can't wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022," along with three heart emojis.

In the first photo, Sonam cradles her baby bump while lying on the sofa, in the other, the couple share a happy moment.
