COVID-19 postpones release of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-starrer RRR

Mumbai: The release of one of the biggest and most-anticipated movies of the year, RRR, has been postponed due to the current situation of Covid-19.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter page of the action thriller, directed by SS Rajamouli.

According to the tweet, "Keeping the best interests of all involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love."

The movie was scheduled to be released on January 7.

There has been no announcement regarding the new release date. (UNI)
