Deepika Padukone launches lecture series on mental health for Live Laugh Love Foundation

The Live Love Laugh Foundation which aims at increasing awareness about mental health launched a lecture series on the same. The foundation,  a charitable trust that was set up in 2015 to give hope to every person experiencing stress, anxiety and depression (SA), held the first edition of Live, Love, Laugh - a lecture series with Deepika Padukone. The aim of the annual event was tp steer and shape the conversation on mental health and advance understanding on the topic.
The maiden lecture was delivered by Pulitzer prize-winning author & Padma Shri  Awardee, Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee.
 
The event was held at Taj Mahal, New Delhi which was attended by Deepika Padukone, Anisha Padukone, Prakash Padukone, Ujjala Padukone, Sharmila Tagore, Indu Bhushan, CEO Ayushman Bharat; Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog, Dr. Renu Sawarup, Dr. Balaram Bhargava, Prof. Vijay Raghava, Prof. Gagandeep Kang, Sanjeev Sanyal.
 
Deepika Padukone shares, "The lecture series is to invite people from different profession from various parts of the world. Most importantly the people who are passionate about mental health and have us to talk about their journey and experience.”
 
Deepika, who is the founder of Live Love Laugh Foundation, thanked the media fraternity for their role in starting the “conversation about mental health.”
