New Delhi: Bollywood's Baadshah, Shah Rukh Khan, came second to his "Shanti" Deepika Padukone, as she topped IMDb’s list of the top 100 most viewed Indian stars of the last decade.
Lovingly called "DP", "Deepu", Padukone who has been in the middle of a social media storm over the last few days, as she topped the chart against her Bollywood debut hero from “Om Shanti Om” (2007).
In 2024, SRK appears to get nothing wrong as the IPL owner enjoyed a win after decade and also mega fan following from every corner of the world.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt stood third and fourth on the list while the late Irrfan Khan is in fifth position, Aamir Khan sixth, the late Sushant Singh Rajput seventh and Salman Khan eighth.
The list is determined by the page views of the 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide, a Variety report said.
Most of the Top 20 were captured by Bollywood, while the highest placed actors from the Southwere all women – Samantha Ruth Prabhu at 13, Tamannaah Bhatia (16) and Nayanthara (18), the report added.
The highest placed southern male filmstars are Prabhas, Dhanush and Ram Charan, who occupy positions 29-31.
