Mumbai: Soorma was the first noticeable movie released after Sanju, the common thing was both biopic. While the later had a rollicking start Soorma finds it hard to gain momentum on box office.
The movie garnered only 3.25 crore on the opening day. The movie is doing particularly well in the north circuit. Diljeet Dosanjh’s acting is also being hailed by public and critics. It is the second movie based on hockey after “Chak de India”, Interstingly, next month Akshay Kumar’s “Gold” is set to release, which is based on Indian hockeys Olympic victory. (WD)
