Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her daughter Vamika were seen cheering husband-dad Viart Kohli’s half-century in third and final match against South Africa at Newlands on Sunday.

Moments after bringing up his fifty, Kohli turned to dedicate the knock to his daughter who was seen for the first time on live television.

As the broadcaster shared the first glimpse of little princess Kohli, fans couldn’t resist themselves from sharing her video clip and photos on the social media. And within hours, Vamika’s photos got viral.

Now, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have taken to their Instagram stories and issued a statement and requested fans not to share their daughter’s photos and respect their privacy.

The statement reads, "Hi guys! We realise that our daughter's images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn't know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika's images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you!"

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on 11 December 2017 in a private ceremony in Italy. The couple was blessed with daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021.
