Director Atlee left confused in 1st meeting with Shah Rukh Khan

New Delhi: Noted South Indian film director Atlee was confused when he first met Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', directed by Atlee, was released on September 7.

The total turnover of 'Jawan' in India has crossed Rs 500 crore.

Atlee said, "When I met Shah Rukh for the first time, Shah Rukh sir told me that he wanted to do an Atlee film."

I asked him, 'Sir, what is Atlee Film? I want to be part of a film that has your signature as a mass director."

I am fortunate to have such an amazing team.

Shah Rukh sir, Nayanthara ma'am, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika ma'am pushed me to my limits and gave me the best.

"I got a lot of support from my family; my wife, Priya, is my backbone.

And the other one was Khan; he gave me the strength to fight all the challenges that I faced as a team in the last 4 years during the making of this film. (UNI)
