Director Milan Luthria on Mouni Roy: “She would take 3 hrs to get ready & arrive on set”

New Delhi: The road to power, a heart-warming friendship and the charm of the 60s, Disney+ Hostar's upcoming power-packed series, Sultan Of Delhi has it all.
 
Based on the book, Sultan of Delhi: Ascension by Arnab Ray, the series is produced by Reliance Entertainment and Directed by Milan Luthria and Co-Directed and Co-written by Suparn Verma.
 
Reimagining the charm of old India and creating a visual spectacle on-screen, Milan Luthria marks his OTT directorial debut with this larger than life mass entertainer, 'Sultan Of Delhi" which is all set to release on 13th October 2023.
 
The series stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjumm Shharma, veteran actor Vinay Pathak alongside Nishant Dahiya and the ladies Anupriya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi and Mehreen Pirzada, making for a perfect ensemble cast.
 
Well, when asked about making his OTT debut with the series,Director Milan Luthria left no stone unturned in joking about his cast and roasting them!
 
Talking about this, Milan Luthria said, "I should be actually saying that I enjoyed making my OTT debut with this project but the entire cast has troubled me a lot for the past 2 years and the first in that line is Mouni Roy."
 
"Mouni came to set 10 mins before call time to greet us all in the morning and then we would see her directly during lunch time. She would take 3 hours to get ready and arrive on set," he added.
 
Sultan of Delhi is set to stream 13th October, 2023 onwards, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. (UNI)
