The business of multiplexes and theatres has gone bad to worse. There is no star studded movie that can drag the audience to the big screen. This is the reason distributors have requested Salman khan to release the much-touted Radhe on the big screen.
Earlier, there were speculations that Salman Khan starrer and much-touted film "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" would take on Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi on Diwali, but both the movies were not released on the festival.
Trade experts were expecting that the film will be released next year when multiplexes will be reopened positively. It is to be noted that Radhe was not released on Eid-Ul-Fitr due to lockdown imposed after COVID-19 Pandemic hit the country.
It was expected that Radhe will be released at Eid Ul Fitr in 2021, but grapevine says Salman Khan has decided to release the movie directly on the OTT platform. This has made distributers restless. Distributors have requested Salman khan to roll back his decision so that it gives the much-needed push to the stalled business of cinema. (WD)
