'Extreme Psychopath'; more about Mammootty's character in the new film

Mammootty has officially started filming for his latest movie directed by Jithin K Jose, who previously penned the story for Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup. and produced by Mammootty Kampany.

He recently shared a photo with co-star Vinayakan on his Facebook page. Mammootty seen in extreme makeover in that photo.

Unconfirmed reports along with the announcement of the project suggested that Mammootty would be playing a character with negative shades in the upcoming film. This movie has been scripted by Jishnu Sreekumar.

Mammootty will act an extreme psychopath's character in the yet-to-be-titled film. In the recent past, Mammootty won applause by portraying characters with negative shades in films like Puzhu, Roshach, Osler and Bhramayugam. The character made by Jithin K Jose's movie also comes to this group.

This marks the seventh film produced under the Mammootty Kampany banner. The movie will be distributed in Kerala by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films. More details about the plot and the extended cast are expected to be revealed soon.
