Mumbai:Soulful Bollywood singer Monali Thakur, who is known for hits like "Chham Chham" and "Moh moh ke dhaagey" among many others, has started filming for her next titled "Dukaan".
The Bollywood singer hit-maker next Bollywood acting venture is "Dukaan" and she is in Gujarat for the shoot.
The 36-year-old made her acting debut in 2007, in Raja Sen's Bengali film "Krishnakanter Will", in which she played Bhromor. Her Bollywood debut was in the film "Lakshmi" in 2014 directed by Nagesh Kukunoor on human trafficking and child prostitution. The singer-actress also had a cameo in the Aamir Khan starer "PK" as a Kashmiri Girl.

Monali started shooting for the film in Gujarat on Wednesday and is excited to play one of the two protagonists in Dukaan, which also marks the directorial debut of Siddharth-Garima the writers of Shahid Kapoor's hit "Kabir Singh" and Akshay Kumar's "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha".
