Famous Urdu poet and lyricist Rahat Indori passes away

New Delhi: Noted Urdu Shayar Rahat Indori passed away following repetitive heart stroke thrice. 70-year-old Rahat Indori, a native of Indore, has been a famous poet in the Hindi heartland. He also wrote songs for a few popular Bollywood movies. 

Earlier, The famous Urdu Shayar (poet) Rahat Indori had tested positive for COVID 19 on Tuesday.Taking to twitter, the lyricist informed about testing positive for coronavirus.He said, 'After having initial symptoms of COVID-19 my test was conducted yesterday, and its report has come out positive.'
 
'I am admitted to the Aurobindo Hospital, pray for me so that I am able to defeat the disease soon,' his tweet further read.He has requested all his admirers, fans and dear people to not call up his family or him while he is hospitalised, and added saying that information about me will be made available through twitter and Facebook.(UNI)
