Farhan Akhtar started prepping in full swing for his upcoming sports drama 'Toofan'

Mumbai: Actor Farhan Akhtar has kickstarted prepping for his upcoming sports drama 'Toofan' which is going to be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The actor took to his official social media handle and shared his workout video doing the heavy lifting in the gym under the special attendance of trainer. 
As the role demands for physical masculinity, actor Farhan Akhtar has already started prepping for the role. Soon Farhan Akhtar will also start for the boxing training once he is ready with the all physical training. 
 
After playing Olympian sprinter Milkha Singh, Farhan is all set to play the role of a boxer in another sports-drama film titled Toofan. The film is not a biopic. It is a fictional story scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Farhan fell in love with it as soon as he heard it. After 2013, 6 years later, the hit combination of Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra reuniting on screen.
 
On the work front actor, Farhan Akhtar has some interesting line up ahead. Farhan is currently busy shooting the last schedule of – a Shonali Bose flick ‘The Sky Is Pink’ and has started prepping for his next 'Toofan'.
 
Excel Entertainment presents 'Toofan' an Excel Entertainment production in association with ROMP Pictures will be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
