New Delhi: Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh says she was nervous about playing the role of Indira Gandhi in the film Sam Bahadur.
Sam Bahadur has been made on the life of the country's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Vicky Kaushal is playing the title character in the film directed by Meghna Gulzar.
Fatima said, "When I got the role of Indira Gandhi, I was nervous. I didn't know whether I would be able to do it or not. Indira Gandhi was such a big personality. When I told Meghna about this, she said "trust me|". I didn't believe in myself, but she did. She gave me all the research material related to Indira Gandhi. To get the look of Indira Gandhi in this film, the make-up artist has adapted the natural features of my face as required."
The film has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It will release in the theatres on December 1. (UNI)
