Mumbai: As fans eagerly wait for the release of 'Brahmastra' trailer, the makers on Thursday shared a poster of Amitabh Bachchan's character 'Guru-the master of light'.

In the poster, Big B can be seen with a bruised face and a sword of light.

Director Ayan Mukerji shared Senior Bachchan's first look and said: "GURU (and his Prabh?stra - The Sword of Light)."

He further said, "Since my first meeting with Mr. Bachchan in 2016 to discuss Brahm?stra, he has always said that he loved the concept of this venture - Ancient Indian Astras which are protected in India today!

"This blend of ancient Indian Spirituality and modern India - had really appealed to him, and to my great fortune, he agreed to be a part of Brahm?stra...

"And changed the destiny of our movie - by bringing his magnificent energy to our Guru - filling him with grace, wit and wisdom.

"So much excitement and respect in my heart today, as we launch our Guru Poster, and celebrate this collaboration with the Greatest of Indian Cinema!"

Amitabh Bachchan also shared his first look poster and captioned: "Ek aisi Roshni jismein hai har andhere ko Haraane ki Shakti Here comes GURU! The Wise Leader who holds the PRAHBH?STRA: The Sword Of Light! BRAHM?STRA Trailer out on June 15th"
