Chandigarh: Haryana Government today decided to exempt the film ‘Dangal’ from entertainment duty under Section 11 of the Punjab Entertainment Duty Act, 1955.
Excise and Taxation Minister Capt Abhimanyu said the producer would be exempted from paying entertainment duty of 150 prints of the film per week for ten weeks in the state, subject to the condition that there will not be any refund or foregoing of past collection.He said a notification to this effect has been issued.
